Working with Opportunities

When you click on an opportunity from the list, the detail view opens on the right side of the screen. Here's what you'll find and how to work with it.

Opportunity Description

At the top of the detail view is a synopsis of why this opportunity was flagged. The content varies by opportunity type and often includes the AI's specific reasoning and confidence level.

Communications Interface

Below the description, the Communications Interface displays the candidate's notes, messages, and activities from Bullhorn in a scrollable, instant messaging-style timeline.

  • Blue bubbles (right side) — Outbound communications from your team.

  • Gray bubbles (left side) — Inbound communications from the candidate.

  • Centered entries with special icons (e.g., lightning bolt) — Status changes like placements or submissions, pulled from the candidate's related Bullhorn records.

Every bubble includes a header showing the note type, date, author, and time. This mirrors the Communications Interface your recruiters see in TalentIQ, if that's part of your license.

Action Buttons

Use these to manage opportunities:

  • Mark Completed — Moves the opportunity from Open to Completed. Records who closed it and when.

  • Mark Unread — Restores the opportunity as unread on the list. Useful if you opened one accidentally or need to come back to it later.

Context Cards

At the bottom of the detail view, context cards provide supporting information relevant to the opportunity. Not all cards appear for every opportunity type.

  • Candidate Card — Shows the candidate's name, Bullhorn ID (linked to their record), current status, and last note logged.

  • Placement Card — Displays the placement title, Bullhorn ID (linked), status, company, and start date.

  • Opportunity Card — Shows the opportunity's creation date, last update, and current status.
