Ask Toro

Ask Toro is an AI-powered Q&A feature built into TalentIQ that lets you ask questions about a candidate and get answers based on their activity data.

Getting Started

There are two ways to open Ask Toro:

1. Toro logo — Hover over the Toro logo in the top-right corner of the TalentIQ card. A dropdown will appear with suggested questions to get you started. Select a suggestion or type a custom question.

2. Search bar — Type a question directly into the search bar. If no search results are found, you'll see a prompt to "Ask Toro Instead", which runs your question through Ask Toro.

Using Ask Toro

After asking a question, Ask Toro will take a moment to process before responding. All responses are based solely on the candidate's activity data (notes, messages, submissions, placements, etc.).

To ask a follow-up question, scroll to the bottom of the Ask Toro conversation and type your next question. Follow-ups stay within the same conversation thread for context.

Conversation History

Use the History dropdown to view all previous Ask Toro conversations for the current candidate.

Returning to the Communications View

To exit Ask Toro and go back to the candidate's notes timeline, click "Back to Activities" in the top-right corner of the Ask Toro panel.
