Frequently Asked Questions

Can a recruiter still manually update a field after DataIQ has populated it?

Yes. DataIQ does not restrict any normal Bullhorn usage. Users can update fields before, during, or after DataIQ has touched a record.

How does DataIQ determine something like a "desired location" — does it count every location a recruiter mentions?

DataIQ understands multi-directional communication flows and can distinguish between general recruiter pitches and actual candidate interest. Desired locations are typically those the candidate has explicitly requested, confirmed interest in, or expressed a personal preference toward.

Which candidates does DataIQ process?

DataIQ processes candidates who have had communication engagement such as inbound emails, texts, or calls. Candidates without any engagement history are skipped.

How does DataIQ handle real-time vs. historical updates?

Once enabled, DataIQ processes candidates in real-time as new activity comes in. For historical enrichment, Toro manages a bulk processing run that works through a selected portion of your candidate database over a period of time. Your team will receive updates on progress throughout.

Is there a way to monitor what DataIQ is doing?

Yes. Toro provides access to a web-based monitoring interface at app.toroinsights.ai/data-iq where your team can view processing activity, operation details, and field-level changes. This is informational only — no action is required, but it's available for full transparency into what DataIQ is analyzing and writing back to Bullhorn.
